What to Know
Gender-affirming care, as defined by the World Health Organization, encompasses a range of interventions designed to support and affirm an individual’s gender identity when it conflicts with the gender they were assigned at birth.
Exelixis provides a gender-affirming health benefit designed to support gender-affirming therapy and procedures. All U.S. full-time employees (working 30+ hours per week) who are enrolled in a group medical plan are eligible to participate in the program.
Eligible employees will receive a one-time fund of $25,000 to be used toward eligible expenses under the Gender-Affirming Health Benefits HRA. If you’re enrolled in a high-deductible plan, you must provide proof of the IRS minimum individual or family deductible being met for medical expenses.
